|Unwavering Recording Stability
We have tweaked the firmware of our RECLine™ SSD drive to provide the optimal performance for surveillance applications. As the name suggests, the sustained write performance is kept at a high and steady level without any dips in recording quality.
|Surpassing the Inherent Limits
Every flash device needs to run certain background operations to maintain efficiency. However, these operations can also interfere with ongoing recording. RECLine™ solves this inherent issue by smart resource allocation ensuring no interference to recording operations.
|A Novel Approach to Flash Firmware
Innodisk’s dedicated firmware team has completely overhauled onboard configuration to create RECLine™. This proprietary firmware customization consists of a complete re-design of garbage collection, TRIM and wear-leveling for modern surveillance applications.
|Innodisk’s iCell Technology ensures that DRAM-based solid state drive (SSD) can protect mission critical data and prevent data loss during an unexpected power failure. This is achieved by integrated iCells delivering an instantaneous charge to the SSD to make sure the data is safely stored.|
Reengineering Data Loss Prevention
Innodisk understands that data stored in the drive’s volatile cache (DRAM) often contains more recently used data and system critical data. As such, making sure the data is secure in the event of a power outage is paramount. That is to say, if power suddenly drops, the SSD can promptly save the data to flash memory to avoid data loss and device restaring issues.
Raising the Bar through Hardware Architecture
Innodisk has modified the traditional SSD IC board without compromising normal performance operations. iCell Technology features a unique robust design, engineering extra power buffering capacitors on the IC board, which provide an emergency charge to the system if needed.
Exponential Time Gains
In traditional SSDs without iCell Technology, emergency residual system power only holds for a duration of 2ms. In such a short time frame, the SSD is unable to write from the memory cache to the flash memory, leading to data loss. iCell SSDs’ emergency residual power on the other hand extends this to 60ms, this translates into a 30 times longer duration to save data from volatile memory.
Stability: IData Guard
|In the event of a sudden power loss, iData Guard kicks in both just before and after the outage. By terminating data writing and using table re-mapping, iData Guard ensures efficient power cycling and data Integrity.|
As soon as low power is detected, the SSD will immediately stop accepting new commands from the host and ensure that the last operation is completed. The data will be safely stored and is readily accessed when power comes back on.
|Hardware and Firmware in Harmony
iData Guard’s algorithm smartly integrates hardware with firmware. When the detector picks up a drop in voltage it will inform the SSD controller which in turn will ensure that data is securely saved before power is lost.

|256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard|
|Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is the standard cipher used by the US government to protect confidential data and documents on storage devices.|
|Only Complete Data Security is Acceptable
With the intricacy of AES encrypting, there is simply no way to brute force it open. The encryption key is randomly generated and is unknown to both the user and the manufacturer. The key can be destroyed in less than a second, rendering all stored data useless as it cannot be decrypted.

All operations are handled by SSD hardware drive which means zero impact on system speed when encrypting or decrypting data. Being a hardware-based encryption, the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is fully OS-agnostic and will run smoothly regardless of what system is in use.

TCG Opal is the most recognized standard for self-encrypting drives (SED). Innodisk’s SSDs are compliant with TCG OPAL 2.0, allowing for a user friendly authentication and better overall device management.
