GREENVILLE, S.C., July 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- KEMET Corporation (NYSE: KEM), a leading global supplier of electronic components, today announced the expansion of its High Voltage Goldmax Radial Leaded Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor (MLCC) product line to include a new 630 VDC rating as well as leading capacitance values. Rated for use in temperatures ranging from -55 to +125 degrees Celsius and available in both COG and X7R dielectric, High Voltage Goldmax Radial Leaded MLCCs feature KEMET's advanced ceramic technology in one of the world's most versatile form factors.

Leaded MLCCs are often a preferred solution in application environments that promote printed circuit board (PCB) or component failure. They can be weld- or crimp-mounted, eliminating the need for a PCB, resulting in both space and cost savings. In addition, radial leaded capacitors are non-polar and can be easily integrated into an existing circuit.
High Voltage Goldmax capacitors are designed for a variety of applications such as power supplies, automotive keyless entry, temperature sensors, LED lighting and electric motors.
