Dual-Material Strategy for Targeted Noise Suppression
The ESD-SR-XVE Series is available in two core materials, each optimized for a distinct frequency band:

One of the most practical features of ferrite snap-on cores is the ability to increase impedance by routing the cable through the core more than once. Each additional pass — or "turn" — raises the impedance while shifting the resonance point to lower frequencies. This gives engineers in-field flexibility to optimize performance without changing the component:
- 1 turn: Standard impedance, full frequency range
- 2 turns: Higher impedance, resonance shifts to lower frequencies
- 3 turns: Maximum impedance, most suited for low-frequency suppression
