The new NovaSensors NPC-1210 series are a quick replacement for most TE 12XX, 56XX and 58XX series and are available now. This series of low/medium pressure sensors offer a cost-effective solution for calibrated applications requiring a wide temperature range. In a dual-in-line (DIP) package, the NPC-1210 series is ideal for traditional PCB applications. Additional optional pressure port and pin layout configurations offer maximum flexibility in low-profile applications where tube port orientation is critical.
The NPC-1210 series is based on NovaSens advanced piezoresistive sensor technology SenStable®. These silicon micromachining techniques are used to implement piezo-resistive strain gauges as ion implants in a Wheatstone bridge configuration. Furthermore, these sensors are superior in the compensated operating temperature range of 32°F to 140°F (0°C to 60°C). A gain set resistor is included to regulate the FSO for field interchangeability.
