The Rockchip RK3588 SoC, featuring a hybrid architecture with four high-performance Cortex-A76 cores, four energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores, and three Cortex-M0 cores for real-time control tasks. Integrated within the SoC are also a GPU, a neural processing unit (NPU), and a video codec, enabling robust performance across multimedia and AI workloads. To further enhance AI capabilities, the module also includes the Axelera Metis AIPU, soldered directly on board. This dedicated AI accelerator delivers up to 120 TOPS of processing power, making the platform exceptionally well-suited for intensive edge inference and vision-based applications.
