SECO: COM EXPRESS type 6 - Amston Lake Intel Atom - C7000RE
SECO recently introduced the SOM-COMe-CT6-ASL, a new COM Express Type 6 module powered by Intel's Atom x7000RE processors. This module, launched at Embedded World 2024, is designed for industrial edge applications that demand high performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.
It integrates the Intel x7000RE (Amston Lake) and x7000E (Alder Lake) processors, offering scalability from two to eight cores, extended temperature operation, and low power consumption. This makes it ideal for sectors like industrial automation, automotive, healthcare, and Industry 4.0.
Key features include support for up to 16GB of DDR5 memory with error correction (IBECC), Intel Gen12 UHD graphics with 32 execution units, and robust connectivity options such as Ethernet, USB, PCIe, and SATA. Additionally, SECO’s Clea software suite enhances IoT application deployment, enabling efficient device management and AI development
