Series quantities can thus be programmed at any time within 24 hours. This offer also includes alternatives to common quartz products.
By programming, blanks are set to the required specification, i.e. frequency, accuracy, voltage and temperature range, among others. All common package shapes are offered, from modern 2.0x1.6mm and 2.5x2.0mm, to 3.2x5.0mm and 5.0x3.2mm up to 7.0x5.0mm. Therefore pin and function compatible alternatives to oscillators of other manufacturers are available. From 100 pieces the delivery is T&R, the capacity is up to 3,000 pieces per hour.

Conventional quartz oscillators, on the other hand, depend on costly manufacturing in the Far East, and their long delivery times often cause procurement problems. SiTime's MEMS oscillators, most of which are produced in Germany, offer a completely different security of supply. The production of the resonators takes place at Bosch in Reutlingen and the final programming including testing at SE Spezial-Electronic in Bückeburg. For the intermediate steps of IC manufacturing and assembly, several large semiconductor factories worldwide are contracted in parallel. This ensures a stable supply chain.
The MEMS oscillators also offer several technical advantages, e.g. they are less sensitive to temperature changes or shock and vibration. They can therefore be used from -55°C to +125°C. In addition, the oscillators are available with various analog and differential output signal types (LVCMOS, LVPECL, LVDS, HCSL).
