SE Spezial-Electronic GmbH Concludes Distribution Agreement with Xsens Technologies
Files
German design-in distributor SE Spezial-Electronic GmbH recently signed a partnership with Dutch manufacturer Xsens Technologies B.V. for the DACH region and the UK. Xsens is a leading manufacturer of inertial sensors for high-precision orientation determination of vehicles and devices in both outdoor and indoor applications.
The combined industrial GNSS/INS motion trackers are particularly suitable for outdoor use, for example in agricultural and construction machinery.
For indoor and underwater use, as well as for applications that are used underground, Xsens offers products with the MTi-SeriesTM IMUs, VRUs & AHRSs that provide highly precise motion measurement for orientation.
Johannes Lange, Director Embedded at SE Spezial-Electronic sees Xsens' products as an excellent addition to SE's current high-end positioning portfolio: "We are already very well positioned in the positioning sector, and Xsens' products now perfectly round out our offering. The range of possible target applications has increased significantly with this expansion."
"We see SE as an excellent channel partner for the distribution of our Xsens MTi-SeriesTM in the DACH region and the UK. SE has already acquired a very high level of technical expertise through its collaboration with u-blox, which will help bring our combined industrial GNSS/INS motion trackers to market. In addition, we are sure that SE will be very well placed to find new projects for our MTi-SeriesTM IMUs & AHRSs for indoor, subsea and "underground" applications", explains Meindert Zeeuw, Sales Director ISM-EMEA at Xsens Technologies B.V..
