CONEC: IO-Systems Distribution Boxes Accessories
The ongoing decentralization of industrial automation driven by Industry 4.0 concepts demands flexible, customized wiring solutions that can be deployed directly on the machine or in the field. The IO distribution boxes from our partner CONEC are designed precisely for this challenge, providing structured distribution of input and output signals in modern automation environments.
The portfolio spans from passive distribution boxes for straightforward signal routing all the way to active IO boxes with fully integrated electronics, supporting direct connection to controllers via fieldbus or Industrial Ethernet protocols. Compact form factors, rugged housings, and intuitive connection technology combine to accelerate installation, minimize wiring overhead, and deliver exceptional operational reliability, even under the harshest industrial conditions.
Complementing the distribution boxes, a comprehensive range of matching connectors is available, ensuring standard-compliant, reliable, and future-proof connectivity across a broad spectrum of applications.
All distribution systems carry an IP67 protection rating, enabling cost-efficient, well-organized wiring of sensors and actuators at the field level. They are the go-to choice wherever spatially distributed sensor and actuator signals must be rapidly and reliably connected to higher-level controllers. Signal connections are made either via permanently attached cables or through standardized connector interfaces simplifying installation, reducing wiring complexity, and maximizing flexibility for future expansions or maintenance.
Overview Product Portfolio
| Y-Distributors | M12x1 to M12x1 and M12x1 to M8x — available in 4-, 5-, or 8-pin A-coded designs |
| Duo Distributors | M12x1 to M12x1, 5-pin A-coded — cable lengths: 0.3 m, 0.6 m, 1.5 m, 3 m |
| T-Distributors | M12x1 connectors, 4-, 5-, or 8-pin A-coded — cable lengths: 0.3 m and 0.6 m |
Overmolded connectors are available in M8x1 and M12x1 sizes, covering an extensive range of industrial automation applications. They cut both installation time and cost while providing a dependable connection directly in the field.
The M8 series additionally includes snap-in and screw-in snap-in variants. Standard screw locking is used as the default, while the M12 quick-release bayonet variant extends the offering in the M12 size.
The connector portfolio includes:
- Signal and data transmission connectors
- Power connectors
- Combined EtherCAT P connectors for ultra-fast communication with integrated 24 V power supply
All connectors provide consistent cable-to-connector protection and guaranteed tamper resistance. In addition to standard codings, BUS variants are available in B, D, P, and X codings, alongside power versions in K, L, S, and T codings. For unprotected interfaces, CONEC's SAL accessories range offers protective caps with or without lanyards.
