In the agricultural, construction, and municipal technology sectors, the level of automation is constantly increasing, driving the need to equip machines with sensors and other electrical components. Efficient water and nutrient management, for instance, is becoming increasingly crucial in agricultural technology.
Through smart integration of various data sources, farmers can precisely and proactively irrigate and fertilize their fields. To achieve this, connectors are required that not only operate reliably in harsh environmental conditions but are also highly flexible to be used in various mounting situations.
CONEC has expanded its valve connector program with overmolded DT connectors in a 90-degree angled configuration, featuring both single and double cable outlets. Four different directions of the 90-degree cable outlet are offered. Both single and double outlet versions are available. The double outlet versions are often used as Y-splitters for distributing signals and power, with variable cable lengths and the ability to configure different connectors at the cable ends according to customer requirements. Daisy-chain applications with multiple cascaded connectors, for example, to control valves over a CAN bus, can also be realized with these connectors.
The option to distribute signals and power from one connector to two others offers opportunities to build more compact systems and save space.
Upon request, various combinations instead of open cable ends are possible in addition to the standard items.
The angled version of the overmolded DT connectors is offered with a PUR cable and a wire cross-section of 0.75 mm² at a length of 1 meter, and it is currently available for the 2-, 4-, and 6-pin versions of DT06 (socket contact version).
Additional lengths, cross-sections, cable qualities, and individual connection options are possible upon request.
Similar to the previous versions of the overmolded DT connector series, the angled versions meet the IP67/IP69K protection rating when mated.
